Scheduled Maintenance: MCOECN Core Network Infrastructure
Status: 🟡 Scheduled Maintenance
The MCOECN will be performing planned maintenance on its core network infrastructure beginning Thursday, July 30, from 9:00 PM to 12:00 AM EDT.
This maintenance includes firmware and operating system updates to core network switches to ensure the infrastructure remains current with the latest security patches and software releases.
Expected Impact
- No sustained service interruptions are anticipated.
- Users may experience one or two brief network interruptions (approximately one minute each) while core routers reboot and network traffic transitions to redundant infrastructure.
- In the event of an unexpected issue, all MCOECN-hosted services could be affected, including (but not limited to):
- State Software
- eFinancePlus
- ProgressBook / Frontline
- INFOhio
- Hosted ITC infrastructure
Additional Information
The MCOECN will actively monitor the maintenance and address any unforeseen issues as quickly as possible. A final update will be posted once all maintenance activities have been successfully completed.
